The US government is set up to work for the people. The people enable it's activities and everyone who works in government works for the people. The people should not be afraid of it, and if they are then it's the governments problem to fix. The people do not have to acquiesce to unlawful acts by government against its citizens.

You sound like a spoilt 5 year old. Criminals are deported and cities have become safer as a result. You should be thankful. The government is in fact doing with the people want, and it is only a few criminals, illegal immigrants and relatives who live in fear of the government, and this is a good thing.

Nah, you're thinking only in absolutes like a child. In the real world there's a tradeoff between freedom and safety, and America chooses freedom. Thousands of citizens have been abducted by ICE who have not committed crimes. ICE is invading the homes of citizens without warrants. ICE is beating people up in the streets just because they're standing in the way.

Maybe in other countries that don't value freedom, but these are unacceptable activities for law enforcement in the US. We allow citizens to carry weapons in part to protect us from the government. Freedom is more important than safety.

Sure. This is just one reporter, who has 2,300 dumocumented cases of wrongful arrests by ICE since July. The real number is obviously much higher.

ICE doesn't care about the why, they just abduct. There's no accountability. So, good luck figuring out why when the answer is 'none of your business'.

They don't operate as law enforcement. Just masked thugs with guns, paid by taxpayers to harass and intimidate citizens.
