Sure, post an OPINION piece. It's OBVIOUS if the anti Vaxxers refuse to get the vaccine then the herd immunity might not happen. It is said we need to have 3/4 of the population vaccinated to get herd immunity. So if 30% of the population, those STUPID folks don't get vaccinated, then there would be no HI.

I said that is the percentage of the word population that we have lost due to COVID...0.02% The Spanish Flu was about 100 times more lethal to the 1918 population than COVID is to us. They lost 3% to 5% of the world population. I'm just trying to give the bleeding hearts here some realistic perspective. I can see its falling on def ears.

Well kid, I won't wait if they offer it to me. I'll take the risk of side effects and doctors have gotten the shot live on TV and reported only some muscle aches and some slight fever but that is a sign the vaccine is starting to work.

My wife is even closer to top tier, well third tier from what I read, over 75 with medical complications like diabetes and such.

She and I both would not hesitate to get the shot.

I think you overblow the seriousness of side effects of C19 vax.

Anyway, with a death rate of some 2% in the US, the vaccine is THOUSANDS of times safer than that and if say 10 people die in a million shots while the rest have immunity, it will still be worth the tradeoff.

Right now it is something like one death per 50 ish folks with the disease.

The whole idea of a vaccine is to reduce the viral count in the lungs for instance.
If you have say 1/10th of 1/1,000,000th of the viral load after the vaccine produces antibodies, you would have only a few of the C19 virus to infect anyone.
You are still touting conspiracy theories.

Yeah right. In early September there were about 150,000 cases of C19, more than enough to case a REAL POTUS to start being a real leader and start a presidential push with executive orders to have companies make PPE and the like.
He NEVER did that and besides, Fauci wanted to keep his job in the WH so would say anything to stay there.
Only lately when Biden offered to put Fauci on the Biden team did he start saying it was serious and WEAR MASKS.
Trump NEVER said that and made it into a political statement to NOT wear one.

THAT is unconscionable AND has led to THOUSANDS more preventable deaths which are ALL on the small hands of the corrupter in chief TRUMP.
