dear diary,

my life is maggie's gavel
been bangin my head since birth
the only reason i've lived this long
is that nebulous thing called "mirth"

dear diary,

i went to the garden store
i bought a cactus
i took the cactus home with me
in three weeks the cactus died
it appears, on the surface, that i am less nurturing than a desert

Dear diary,

I think I have writer’s block.

Dear Diary,

I think that if Samuel Johnson were alive today, he might write: "No man but a blockhead ever wrote for such a pittance."

dear diary,

today, online, i met a guy who claimed to hold the world's record for the highest IQ
i asked him why he posted such a thingie on the internet
he blocked me

rice and beans for supper tonight

Dear Diary,

I suspect that some others might be reading my private entries.

For the rice-eaters among them, I would like to mention that apparently Thai rice has a very low arsenic content.

(Of course they should do their own research and try to triangulate among the true and the false.)

i read the news today
oh boy
greece burns and gaza explodes as glastonbury grooves
some alliteration ass built alcatraz on the alligators

dear diary,

the following is a long, sorta boring story of what happened when folks did this
the reason i read it all the way thru is because at that time i was an earth loving hippie and i was fascinated by the idea even tho i would never have been able to participate

i fantasized about being there and doing that

i hope nobody else reads this

Dear Diary,

It seems there are some people here with whom I'd rather not interact any more.

Probably not a big loss to leave them behind, Oh well.

dear diary,

today i was frustrated
so i began to unplug various computer components from each other without properly shutting them down

the squeals of machine terror were music to my ears

i was sleeping
this is not exceedingly rare, but neither common
i was visited by a Cosmic Understanding, speaking a language unknown to me

I think that might’ve been your alarm clock radio, tuned to an offshore rogue station.

Dear Diary,

I wonder what solitary, petty, anonymous character seems to be downvoting each and every one of my posts no matter what I post.

The poor, pitiful, unappreciative dear.
