She's a keeper, but I don't think either of us wants to be keeping anyone at the moment. She just got out of a 5 year engagement, and I live with my parents at 30.

It's even worse than I'd thought.
No, not really. I will move when the moment feels right, and if I miss my chance I'm not too worried about it. I just felt like making a thread about it.

Ok. Don't forget to tell us all about it when you take your trash out.

All the more reason to go for it. The potential damage is limited.

I say move in with her. No sense in not leaping before looking at this point.

Yeah - like Coconut says.
Isn't the place at No. 32 empty now - good place to move in together.

Actually I do have some advice questions. #1 - how to handle the Valentine's Day thing? Is she reaching out for someone to be with on it and will lose interest afterwards (that is, it will be her first alone in a long time)? Also, it's my understanding that womens' sex drives cycle with their menstrual (sp?) cycle. I've had a hypothesis that when a girl is frisky, if I miss the chance, one or two weeks later she will not be interested - but give it a month and she will be. That month can be used to build a comfortable, affectionate friendship which can move naturally to sexual stuff.

Or maybe I've just lost my testicles. I'm not sure which it is.

Only a woman's advice could help you. Don't listen to the ballbusters on this thread...Except for my own advice, of course.
