I once, as a kid, stuck a stick (twig) in the mud and it turned, after many decades, into a somewhat large tree. 😲

Sounds like one of those tall tales I"ve heard at the coffee shop, but I am sure you will stick to your story! 😉

"Sticks up hand". You got me, it was indeed, a tall tale. It wasn't mud but wonderful loam and the tree wasn't...tell tale tall...at all.

I have also heard about the big fish stories and the one that got away, one guy even had a shark on his line and no one has known sharks to ever have been in those waters. The fish stories seem to stick in my mind. I use to do a lot of smelt fishing with my father in the winter where you cut a whole in the ice and sit on buckets, now they have little wooden shacks they use. He would catch a big 5 gallon container and I would get 2 or 3 if I was having a good day........LOL.....Those were the days!

I got stuck behind a woman, in the grocery store, who although was close to the 2 meter separation suggestion did not have on a mask. When I pointed it out to her she looked back at me and said, "Bite me"...so I did.
