the next time i have to bury a body in my garden

man o man what a dream

i watched another tiktok video
this one was of a woman sitting in a bathtub of bubbles with a smattering of flower petals decorating the bubbles
she was humming and showing off her toes, freshly adorned and lovely
her sweet kittycat, sitting on the edge of the tub, nonchalantly turned around and proceeded to load the tub
that this suddenly hysterical woman could keep videoing whilst volcanically erupting from a bubble bathtub was enough to capture my fascination with humans in general
and then
giving generously to the universe
she shared this video with me

For me it's mostly plumbing issues -- the most concerning of which at the moment is the deterioration of the kitchen faucet, which is something I'd rather not deal with because my house is such an embarrassing mess that I don't want to have a plumber over, or really anyone (when my closest brother and his family visited a while ago, I let him have a peek at the front room, but I didn't even let him in).

A more general thing is that I'd kind of rather not live in the USA any longer, but I don't have money in the bank to relocate, nor do I have sufficient language skills for candidate destination countries. Plus there's the consideration that it probably wouldn't necessarily be any better for me anywhere else.

But otherwise, maybe it's just the beer or iced tea in the evening that keeps me up.
