"after exhuming the freshly buried remains of a deceased cutthroat and scoundrel,
which she then combined with the rotting organs of a door-to-door Amway salesman,
several telemarketers, and a disbarred attorney"

i really want to audition to the onion
these folks are my heroes

May I suggest a two-step solution:

1) have a tidy up
2) get a plumber in
Thank you. So sensible and straightforward.

I'm not sure that's the right approach for me, though.

"thoughts that keep me awake at night

hmmm?

Did I turn on the a/c for the morning

Did I fill the kettle for my morning cuppa

Did I lock the back door

Did I make a move on RHP to stop a time out

Damn, did I let the dog back in

I must have done; only my best friend would give me sloppy kisses like that

There are many things I am anxious about and many that keep me awake for hours at night.

However, the one thing that helps me relax is the very gentle snoring of my beautiful German Shepherd cross; a friend who has brought her toy when she knows I am stressed; who comes and lays by me when I have to have a rest; a friend who wakes me up for 'play time' - our evening play in the back paddock.

I wake up in the night and hear her gentle snoring; knowing she is there helps me.

If I don't get out of bed around 7.15 am she come round and starts whining and pawing me to make me get up and will not settle until I get out of bed.

What better friend could anyone ever ask for.

her name is Georgie.

Dogs are the best.

It's not thoughts that keep me up at night, but a change in my sleep pattern.

Trust someone to ruin a feel-good thread.

Dogs are okay, but one never hears about ghost-dogs jumping onto one's bed after they pass.

How is it that a woman can undo the clasp and take her bra off behind her back, whereas a man struggles to get the clasp open even when he's looking at it ?
Familiarity.

Regarding the clasp in the back on bras, has anyone ever considered putting the clasp in front, where it would be more convenient for everyone?

(and not necessarily made of metal -- I'm thinking of a loop and button clasp)

Pretty sure this might have started off as a thread about sleep-disturbing thoughts. 😉
