2 out of 30 possible tries. 1 out of 15.
The Tigers have won 4 out of 103 possible tries. 1 out of 25.75 tries.
But we've gone to the Series 10 out of 103 possible times. 1 out of 10.3 times.

But even though we had our second half troubles, we still finished with a better overall record than all but one of the NL teams that made the postseason. And we were the AL wildcard.

We only scored a total of 11 runs between all 5 games. That, combined with the fact that we gave up 8 unearned runs in the Series means that we go down in flames. The '06 Tigers were a Jeckyl and Hyde team. You never knew which of them was going to show up on the field.
Getting beaten by Weaver in the final game was salt in the wound. But we'll be back.

What is childish about Oakland Raiders, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Arkansas Razorbacks, Texas Longhorns, Michigan Wolverines, Green Bay Packers, San Francisco Fourty Niners, Texas Rangers, Saint Louis Cardinals, Dallas Mavericks, Boston Bruins, and Boston Celtics? Just a few teams from the various sports in America.
Why do teams in American sports have such childish names?
