I'm telling you what agnosticism is.
Those who don't mind the term atheist should embrace it.

I though you only entered new threads these days to repeatedly bash sonship or kelly or fill_in_the_blank theist with yet another try at the exact same question you've beaten them up with many times before. Kinda like you did here on page one.
You're getting boring, dude. You should try to mix it up at least a little. Being so predictable is making you soft.

Now, if you disagree with what I say in my discussions with sonship, why not just say so? If you agree with what sonship says in his discussions with me, why not just say so? Instead, you almost always play the man and seemingly never play the ball.

On page one, KellyJay said this:
Its all about faith, so I tend to agree with you. I cannot prove what I believe, there is
always room for doubt. If I knew than it wouldn't be faith, it would be knowledge.
My reply was this:
What a peculiar 'supernatural' mechanism for deciding who gets burned, non-stop,
forever, and who gets immortality. But at least you are conceding that you don't
have knowledge about it, and only have faith.
It's a debate and discussion forum, Suzianne.

What do you mean "embrace it"?
People either are atheists or theists. There is no middle ground. Embracing it is irrelevant.

In fear perhaps of being punished by a God he doesn't believe in?!?

calling himself an atheist and instead refers to himself as an agnostic?
I guess if you can believe in a sky-god you can believe anything!

I disagree less with what you say than how you say it. But you know that.
Do you honestly think that by parroting all the same points you've made countless times in the past, only modifying the frequency with which you wield these points, in a blunderbuss fashion, will make these points any more palatable, or even noteworthy?
You even blundered into this thread to ram them down Kelly's throat yet again, even though no one was talking about that before you blurted your way in here. You've now done this in numerous threads, derailing conversations in your zeal to ram your point home, again.
And now you sit, sulking and pouting, trying to tar me with the same brush I've used on you, to minimal effect.
You've made your point here, man, and numerous times. It hasn't affected anything.
Do you really think 'kicking it up' and repeating these same old unresolvable arguments ad nauseum is the answer to getting anyone to listen to you?
"Instead, you almost always play the man and seemingly never play the ball."
Now there's some irony. You don't really give a good God damn what sonship says. He could say "the sky is blue", and you'd be here instantly, asking him some BS question about something no one is talking about in the current thread, just because sonship said something, and you seemingly can't let him go "unchallenged", all because he happens to disagree with you most of the time, and surely as we can all read this, he must be "punished", for something.
Yes, this IS a debate and discussion board. But most of the time, you can't be bothered with that. It's always you, trying again to "punish" sonship yet again for his disagreement. This is your mission, as it has been for some time now, to hunt down and punish these people who actually had the temerity to disagree with you. And because these disagreements are you trying to verbally beat your opinions of God and religion into people, they are mostly Christians. Adherents of a religion you used to adhere to, and so it is your mission to "punish" them for their insolence. And that's all it is.
No, it's not the content I'm protesting here. The content is not important, because you've shown that even you do not care what the content is. It is your behavior in this forum, as I've outlined above, your narcissistic and neurotic punishment of others who wouldn't give you the time of day unless you were all up in their faces, and so you think it necessary to do just that. I'm saying it is not necessary to do that, as much as you obviously enjoy it. And the sad part here is that you'll continue to do it as long as you have your erstwhile pals slapping you on the back, saying "oh ho, good one!"

Are you saying he has made the same points over and over again and Sonship making the same counter? I haven't read the last 10 years of this so don't know. And in THIS post Sonship hasn't even weighed in at least not yet.

How can it be otherwise?
Unless God were to announce himself in clouds of glory and heavenly choirs of angels, no one truly knows.
Even the most committed theist has doubts. Therefore, he is agnostic.
Even the most committed atheist has to leave a minute percentage to allow for the possibility of his existence.
The pro ...[text shortened]... that everyone thinks they know and off they go on their white charger fighting for their cause.
Everyone is deep down agnostic.
I don't think so.
I could forget who I am, yet the knowledge of God is so deeply implanted that I would still know God is real.
This has happened to me in deep nightmares in which I did not know reality or who I was. Yet the name Jesus was so powerful as to deliver me from dark evils in in sleep.
I don't think everyone is deep down an agnostic.
I would not be honest if I said I was totally agnostic.
I would be honest to say there is much more of God I still have to know.
How can it be otherwise?
It can be otherwise if you just humbly assume everyone's experience may not be your experience.
Unless God were to announce himself in clouds of glory and heavenly choirs of angels, no one truly knows.
This is why I love the progressive unfolding of revelation in the Bible.
You must read the story of the mighty prophet Elijah who was only use to God manifesting Himself in spectacular overwhelming outward ways like a mighty wind powerful enough to break rocks or an earthquake or a devouring fire.
God took the prophet aside to show Elijah that He could also manifest Himself in the still small voice of a man's conscience.
It is so significant that this even is recorded in First Kings 19:11-13. Oh, HOW He is trying to teach us about His profound Being. Oh, how He wants us to understand Him in a fuller breath.
The mighty God revealed Himself ALSO to the spectacular prophet through a "still small voice".
