I'm not the one in disagreement with the majority. I'm content in believing there is a transcendent cause for the universe, I don't need any extraordinary proof, I'm quite happy with the universe as is. If you think more is required, well look for it, but you only get as much as everyone else.

Nothing is impossible, so the universe basically cannot not exist. Given its immensity life is pretty much inevitable. Worrying about how unlikely I am to exist seems futile, since I patently do. So in answer to your point the probability of the universe existing is 1. The probability of life coming about is 1. This doesn't rule out a God, but I'm uncertain about such an entity's necessity for either the universe or for life to exist.

Another little puzzle is with whales, and other ocean mammals that use echolocation to locate food, etc. How did that evolve from a mammal that didn't have it, but for some reason ( must have been really hungry ) decided to take a dip and look for food. But it must have not been able to see very well and then decided it wasn't working and needed another way to catch dinner. So how long did it take for this echolocation to become fully operative so they could now finally eat food from muddy water? 100,000 years, or 50,000 years or did it accomplish this in just a couple years? After all if it took too long to switch over from site to active echolocation, one would think they would all die from starvation? Right??????? Hummmm! Sounds like the old theory thing is still just that..... No answers, no proof.

Dr. Duane T. Gish, assistant director of the Institute for Creation Research (ICR) has made some extravagant and unfounded claims about the bombardier beetle (genus Brachinus). This beetle defends itself by shooting boiling-hot fluids out its rear end at its attackers; Gish argues that no ordinary beetle could have slowly evolved into a bombardier beetle through any conceivable transitional forms because a transitional beetle with an incomplete mechanism would have either been burdened with a load of useless baggage, or else have blown itself to smithereens. In this article, we shall see how badly Gish has distorted the facts about this insect.

Gish already knew better. Why would he repeat an old error? If he is this unreliable in areas where we can check up on him, then how can we trust him in areas where we cannot? But even if his facts were beyond reproach, we would still have difficulty taking him seriously because he brings up the bombardier beetle to help prove that fire-breathing dragons may have actually existed.

So, when Gish says, "How are you going to explain that step-by-step by evolution by natural selection? It cannot be done!" he is merely admitting that he has little ability in problem solving.

Like most if not all of the anti-evolutionists who post on this forum, it might help your case if you had even a basic understanding of abiogenesis and evolution before making posts on those subjects. The only people that might be swayed by your arguments are those just as ignorant on those subjects as you are.
