I was providing a better example than David and Jonathan.

'For there are eunuchs who have been so from birth.' = Some people are born gay.

That being the case, why would God have an issue with gay marriage?
Some people are born gay?

Would you say that every gay person was born that way?

Nature or Nurture?

I'm not against gay people either, but the churches that have evolved into LGBT friendly, I wanted to know if they had a Biblical stance.

Unless they're just taking an approach of "God loves me, no matter what".

"God loves me, no matter what"
Is that in the bible
Or is that just church speak.

I'm more interested in how a gay Christian couple, married or not, defends their relationship Biblically.

I do NOT know a gay Christian couple, or I'd ask them.

The same way all Christian sinners defend their sins

Here's the difference though:

Gay people are NOT going to change their actions, whereas other "sinners" may make an effort to modify their behavior.

So gay people must come to the conclusion, somehow, that God and Jesus are "okay" with their sexual identity.

Those sound opinions so I cannot comment on that.

Basically any activity that is clearly stated to be a sin in the bible cannot be justified. Many people sin and some continue to live in sin and all people will face the judgment of Christ.

I can assure you that according to the bible there are many far worse sins than homosexuality.

1 John 4:8 New International Version (NIV)

8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Really? So gays can't control themselves but a heroin addict can?

Something is missing from your brains if you think that passage is the same as the one Chaney said.

I've talked to them

Usually it boils down to not taking the entire text as literal, or maybe all the text.

Then there is the whole bit about God being love so everything will be OK in the end.
