All sin is the result of weaknesses of the flesh. The genetic makeup of people predisposes them to sin. Some are prone to be unfaithful spouses, some are attracted to children, some attracted to the opposite sex, some cannot resist stealing and some lying. However none have a valid excuse for committing these sins. All are sins and all will be judged at the appropriate time.

Are you saying that if a person is gay, it's a weakness of the flesh?

Holger Kersten's works have been discredited over and over, not just by Biblical scholars, but by Indology scholars as well.

This is just like Trump supporters believing Fox News -- it's because they desperately WANT to believe it. Just like you desperately WANT to believe that Jesus didn't die on the cross and wasn't resurrected three days later.

Chances are that is why Paul told them to shut up in the first place. They had a habit of talking nonsense when he was telling people what Jesus told him to say.

My regret last year was voting 'Yes' on gay marriage. My bad. I should have given it some thought. Now it is legalized. My son went to see his uncle get nmarried recently. I didn't want to stop him going however I did make my own views on it perfectly clear to him. Legalized gay marriage is a blight on the gays and the straights alike. In my humble opinion.
