unless you are a poor amercian, then you have almost zero social mobility, live below the poverty line and have little or no education which limits your so called freedom severely......all hail the leaders of the free world.

You don't know what you are talking about. You aren't even an American and sit and judge like you know first hand. I dismiss most of your comments as nonsense.

Like I said, America is not perfect, far from it...We have been asleep at the wheel, too much apathy, too complacent and mostly strayed from our original values and worship of God.... I only hope it is not too late. Many say we are past the road of no return, I hope not, but the evidence is compelling.

i dont know what im talking about? says the person who claimed america is the last hold out of freedom!!!!!!! last time i checked the world is covered in free democracies.

if you dont believe me, google social mobility in the u.s. - it shows you are not the land of the free where you can be who you want, but you are the land of the rich and poor and its mummy and daddies money that decides where you end up.

now get back to your bbq chicken wings and john wayne movies and hyper-real ideology of americana tv has been feeding you.

"No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government"

I own a gun and I also agree with it. 😏

P.S. On a recent game I played my queen out on the second move to see what would happen. It is called the Patzer opening. The game is still going on, but I have not lost yet.

"To disarm the people... was the best and most effectual way to enslave them."

-- George Mason, speech of June 14, 1788

False is the idea of utility that sacrifices a thousand real advantages for one imaginary or trifling inconvenience; that would take fire from men because it burns, and water because one may drown in it; that has no remedy for evils except destruction. The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.

-- Cesare Beccaria, as quoted by Thomas Jefferson's Commonplace book

"One of the ordinary modes, by which tyrants accomplish their purposes without resistance, is, by disarming the people, and making it an offense to keep arms."

-- Constitutional scholar Joseph Story, 1840

"This country, with its institutions, belongs to the people who inhabit it. Whenever they shall grow weary of the existing government, they can exercise their constitutional right of amending it or their revolutionary right to dismember it or overthrow it."

-- Abraham Lincoln, 4 April 1861

It's the American way since our founding

"Experience should teach us to be most on our guard to protect liberty when the government's purposes are beneficient... The greatest dangers to liberty lurk in insidious encroachment by men of zeal, well meaning but without understanding."

-- Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis
