Would the wine from the fruit be bitter or pleasing to the taste buds and were the vines grown it the right soil along with conditions.
Also Can the essence of God be captured in one or any group of commandments? If so to what level in trying to judge and or understand God here now? I can’t give the answer your looking for?, But I do know the God I know and love and loves me isn’t who I feel your trying to make him out to be.

It’s getting late but I will look tomorrow and see if I missed something. These were answers to your questions in the manner I would answer. If all the conditions are right as mentioned and taught along with that love you were mentioning you had I’m saying I’m not sure to what level it did happen. And at what point of disobedience equaled death in these believers minds or others for that matter, murder, rape, time period related, do we know??? I doubt death happened at the drop of a hat as you portray here although it’s not a perfect world, we’re not perfect, so I’m sure it happened to some just not a big majority thing😉.

Do you think it was popular considering its human nature to love and protect our young for both male and female like pretty much everything else not even putting God in the mix somehow.

Are you suggesting this was popular by believers in some way and proves the Bible false or flawed?

Are you suggesting God is saying here if your child isn’t perfect in every way you not only have the right but wants you to do this? I’m not sure how long this could go on since the parents (vine, get it now??) would have to be perfect Or would they say hmmm we’re not God I we can’t be perfect as taught.

I think it simply reflected the brutal norms that applied in those dark times and attributing it to a God figure was just a buttress to the social order.

So back to God and the Bible’s fault from the brutal norms of society during a brutal time just a couple post back ??
