@Indonesia-Phil saidYes sir. Just as Jesus and the apostles and all of his followers did. Read your bible and learn.............
And yet there you are, knocking on peoples' doors, bothering them in their homes to try to convince them that your 'own' is better than their 'own'. At least be consistent.
@galveston75 saidYou really are delusional ... you back with the claim that Jesus and the Apostles went from house to house, when Jesus specifically told them DO NOT DO THAT...

Luke 10:7 KJV ... Go not from house to house.
Are you dense ?
@Rajk999 saidLol...This is awesome dude. Did you just pick this out thinking you know what it is saying?

You obviously did not read the surrounding scriptures or you just don't get it.
This has got to be your best yet!!!!!!
If you need help with this let me know.....
@galveston75 saidYou are being dishonest... typical of JWs. I posted this recently, including the surrounding verses and you ignored it. The instruction is crystal clear .. DO NOT GO HOUSE TO HOUSE. Jesus said to find a house that accepts you and preach from there.

However, Paul and the Apostles did go house to house, and that is by choice. There is no instruction from Christ to do that. Christ said the opposite ... DO NOT DO IT. The claim you have made over the years is that you are the only Christian group that obeys the commandment of Christ and go house to house to preach. Jesus said not to do it. The fact that Paul did it does not make it a commandment.
Stop with the lying and dishonesty.
@Rajk999
Oh my. This is not worth responding too but I will for others that are reading this.
Jesus told his followers to “make disciples of people of all the nations.” (Matthew 28:19, 20. 19 "Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”
Matthew 10:11-13. 11 “Into whatever city or village you enter, search out who in it is deserving, and stay there until you leave. 12 When you enter the house, greet the household. 13 If the house is deserving, let the peace you wish it come upon it; but if it is not deserving, let the peace from you return upon you."
Acts 5:20. 20, "while I did not hold back from telling you any of the things that were profitable nor from teaching you publicly and from ((((( house to house )))))."
Acts 5:42 42: "And every day in the temple and from (((((( house to house ))))) they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus.
I think that says it all......
@galveston75 saidJesus did say DO NOT GO HOUSE TO HOUSE. That is a fact. I already said that the Apostles did it, so there is no need to post passages with which I agree and pointed out as well.

What about your claim that Jesus said go house to house and that only the JWs obey that commandment and do it.
@galveston75 saidYou make the same error as so many Christians, equating that which was written thousands of years ago, and hundreds of years after the events which they claim to be 'reporting' with historical facts. Maybe Jesus and the apostles went door to door, spreading the good word or selling encyclopedias, maybe they went for a pizza afterwards; the truth of it is that you have no more idea than do I if Jesus and the apostles did anything at all. That's why they call it 'belief', and one persons' belief is another persons' load of garbage; each to their own, yes?
Yes sir. Just as Jesus and the apostles and all of his followers did. Read your bible and learn.............
@galveston75 saidYou mean you added it to your bible.
I challenge you to research whatever original writings of the bible that makes you happy and compare this fact....
Here is a clue... God's name (((((((( Jehovah )))))) was removed just around 4K times in most every bible on purpose because of the Trinity doctrine being forced on the Christian religions about 400 years after Jesus death. And that pretty much all the so ...[text shortened]... ching, but.... they of course had to sell it to their flock.
But I know you just don't care.......
The Hebrews have always been against the vocalization of God's name (which you have corrupted) out of respect for God.
And you can be a Unitarian all day long. But Jesus is fully divine, and NOT just an angel. The messiah cannot, almost by definition, just be an angel.
@galveston75 saidReality 101
Any thoughts on these scriptures and what we all see happening on our planet.....Now?
Matthew 24:3
3 While he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately, saying: “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?”
Matthew 24:7
7 “For nation will rise agai ...[text shortened]... ew 24:33

Amen.
@Soothfast saidThe bottom line is that the bible doesn't just say that "yep some day the end of the world of wicked mankind will happen. That's all you get as far as information and now just sit around and wait it out."
Reality 101
1 If idle pinheads keep predicting the end of the world on each day for the next five billion years, eventually one will hit the bullseye.

If that's all you get out of the bible then you are completely missing the point and you would fall into the very large group of humans that just don't get or understand all of the signs that are given in the Bible.
But then it is also explained in the Bible that "most" would also not understand those signs and would actually scoff at ones that do get them......
@Soothfast saidDoesn’t really matter how far out the last days are, you are not promised tomorrow, so each of our last days could come today.

@KellyJay saidYou are so right. I need some serious back surgery and some mornings I feel like it's my last day... But that's life.
