@galveston75 saidI have been there; it didn't matter what I was doing, sitting, laying down, standing, walking; I was in pain. I missed a couple of months of work; it was horrible.
You are so right. I need some serious back surgery and some mornings I feel like it's my last day... But that's life.
@KellyJay
Did you ever figure out what it is? I supposedly have an extra vertebra from birth. I guess the problem is it has pushed my spine to one side and I now have bone against bone.
Otherwise I'm close to being perfect...Lol. Not even close.
@galveston75 saidPoor lifting technique: I had been lifting and twisting improperly for years, blowing one disk and bulging two others. My sciatic nerve was going ballistic, and the pain was incredible.

@KellyJay saidSo what are you doing about it? Hopefully you are going in for treatment.....

@galveston75 saidChiropractor, got shots in the spine, exercised, and now I try not to do anything to aggravate it.

@KellyJay saidSounds like a great plan buddy. After I get whatever my doc says we will do, I'm going to loose about 30 pounds and try to get back on the bike. I hear it calling me....Lol.

@galveston75 saidYou may consider an inversion table, too. I love the one I have; you only need to use it for seconds to feel better. I'd check to make sure you'd benefit from it.

Hi and thanks for that suggestion but I actually use to have one. It did help some and I wish it had worked better but for some reason I would instantly get a massive headache. I hated it because it did help the back, but the rush of blood to my head seemed to way more then I could take.
So we never figured that one out...but I had to send it back.
@galveston75 saidYou are only supposed to use it for seconds at a time, no more than 10~15, when you start using them because all the blood rushes to your head; your body has to get used to it.
