-Removed-You've already decided it's all bullshiit, so what makes you think you're right?
The answer: because you don't want it to be true, so you'll interpret it any way possible to avoid hell being a reality.
Your OP is a telling example of you interpreting the bible to fit things into your own idea of how things should be.

@chaney3 saidMeta-answer to the metaphor challenge. Gotta like that.
I already answered.
If someone likes what a specific verse or verses say, it's literal.
If someone dislikes the message, then they either dismiss it, or convince themselves it's a metaphor.
In your case Dive, you do not want to believe in hell, so you will continue to argue against any scripture that deals with hell.
"Go and sin NO more".
Real or metaphor?
You tell them what's what C3.
@chaney3 saidare you serious right now?
Yes.
When there is something in the bible that you agree with, it's literal
When there is something in the bible that you disagree with, it's a metaphor.
It's clear Dive that you don't want to believe in hell, despite the fact many warnings are given about it, even from Jesus.
Just admit you dont know either
@chaney3 saideven JC had doubts.
I'm a Christian.
Maybe not a good one, because of doubt, but I am a Christian.
Doubt is part of the human condition, it is part of the mystery.
Before enlightenment chopping wood carrying water, after enlightenment chopping wood carrying water.
It is implied here that the human condition persists despite the knowledge of the divine
@karoly-aczel saidYou being sure makes you someone to listen to because you’re an authority?
he's 'not sure' by self admission.
And we should listen to him?
