Maybe so. Who knows.
No mention of any steering system. No mention at all of Noah steering with any navagational assistance, and God never told him where to go. All this ark was designed for was to float........
This box design was perfect in being made with all right angles as all the space could be used to the max with the load it was carrying.
If the front or the front and back ends were the typical ship design, those pointed areas would have been a real waste of area or the lack of.
And the extra time and effort it would have taken to cut and shape the angled and twisted side planks to make the curverd sides of a pointed hull would have been wasted on the building of the ark.
One should read and accept what the bible is very clear on and not be influanced by Hollywood or all the opinions out there.

Well actually we do know by what he bible says in Genesis. No mention at all of a keel being laid first as in the construction of a ship that would have a power source such as an engine or sail that we normally see in a ship with a pointed end.

I watched the video many months ago. They call that valley the Valley of the 8 and there are anchor stones. The mound was surely a ship / boat / vessel
