It wasn't spirits that descended on Jesus; it was the Holy Spirit!

Matthew 3:16
And when Jesus was baptized, immediately he went up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on him;

Yes, I am. I pride myself on my jerkiness. I own it. Relish in it. Foster, feed and nurture it. I have perfected it. Awash in it. Glory in it. Enjoy, bask and celebrate in it.

No one knows what it's like like I do. I love being me.

Shall I go on?

I wondered about that; I didn't think you'd purposely say such a thing.

What a stupid jerk I am!

I meant uninvolved or indifferent.

Your grammar skills are good. I can read and understand what you mean by what you say.

Most of the time.

I'd like to say, but I don't think you read my post about predestination with comprehension.

Are you familiar with the Shema Yisrael.

Deuteronomy 6:4
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

Hear - šāmaʿ

O Israel - yiśrā'ēl

The LORD - Yᵊhōvâ

Our God - ĕlōhîm

LORD - Yᵊhōvâ

Is one - eḥāḏ

שְׁמַע יִשְׂרָאֵל יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ יְהוָה אֶחָד׃

JEHOVAH OUR GODS IS ONE JEHOVAH.

Freaks people out. As if believing what the scriptures actually mean by what they say will cause them to be a heretic or something.

Numbers 15:41
I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD your God.

LORD, all caps, is God's name, Jehovah - Yᵊhōvâ. Pronounced yeh-ho-vaw'.

God, 'ĕlōhîm, pronounced el-o-heem'. Plural of אֱלוֹהַּ - 'elowahh - God.

I would love to take you over to Genesis 1:26-31, and make some comparisons, but I fear you'll get muddled up and completely misunderstand.

There are two specific words for "one," each meaning something different. Do you know the difference in that language and which one was used in Deuteronomy 6:4?
