ok, on the PK scale of fatometers, how much is too much, 1kg, 2kgs, 10kgs? 20 kgs?
what shall we do? weigh everyone before they come into the Kingdom hall, 'my my
sister that's a very loose fitting dress you are wearing, are you hiding some flab under
it?' Your position is pedantic and unreasonable and unworkable in practice.
You are also making two contradictory arguments:
1. That being overweight is not gluttony.
2. That you cannot enforce any rules about weight.
If you genuinely believe 1. then you shouldn't be arguing 2.

is this really the best you can do, no references, no substantiating reasoning, mere
tabloid style journalism and toilet graphiti style text? I guess it really is the best you
can do.
Don criticize me, Galve and me agree to the nomenclature of a 'cult'.
JW is a cult. Ask Galve!

need to prove that being overweight was a product of gluttony and this cannot be
done. Its not my fault you materialists cannot discern that gluttony is a spiritual
problem not a physical one, for these things are examined spiritually, but you are so
used to things that you can point to, feel and touch you have no spiritual discernment.
The folly of the materialist, how limiting!

Explain this to me -
How can some who drinks frequnetly and excessively be a glutton, yet someone who eats frequently and excessively isn't a gluuton?
are you going to prove that it is the result of gluttony?
Originally posted by robbie carrobieIf you cannot produce a note from a medical practioner as evidence that your obesity is resulting from a medical condition then your guilty of gluttony ie. frequent and excessive eating, you don't become obese without massively overeating. You have procdeures in place to deal with those members of your congregation who frequently and excessively drink, apply those same procedures to those who frequently and excessively eat.

You may not be dieting club, but you are an organistaion that follows Biblical principles are you not?
