I have had horrific things happen to me, I've seen and heard of a lot of horrific
things happen to people who never lost their relationship with Christ. I'm telling
you that Jesus never leaves us or forsakes us, and in the middle of anything
that you could ever go through He'd see you through; however, He has to be
apart of your life for that to actually take place.

If it was real you'd had a relationship with the God through Jesus Christ, God
would have entered your life. That is what you'd walked away from? Sounds
to me you walked away from a belief system that you rejected out of hand over
time because it was empty and void.
No, you've got it wrong. I've told you numerous times. I "walked away" because I don't believe any of it anymore. It has no relevance or function or credibility to me any more. But it used to; much the same as it still does to you. Although, as I have said a few times [and you've been ignoring it steadfastly because it could hardly be more inconvenient to you], if we apply the same logic to you as you apply to me, we don't actually know for sure that you are a "real Christian" or whether you know Jesus. Having said that, it doesn't really matter to me whether your claim to know Jesus is true or not, as I don't believe any of that stuff anymore and I no longer think the things you believe in are real.

Well you're wrong about that, as I have made clear.

This life is filled with good and bad things that occur to us, both can suck the
life out of us. If she struggled that is part of life none of us are ever told that
those types of things cannot happen to us, we are not "protected from the bad
or evil" in this world to the point of avoiding all of it, but we will with Jesus
Christ overcome those things no matter how bad and evil they are.

I'd like to ask you than one question, since God is the greatest things ever
the creator of all, what was so good to you that you rejected Him over?

that in no way attempts to answer the question. do you believe all people who loose faith never really had faith in the first place? is this a sensitive subject or something, i dont understand why its so difficult to answer.

There was no "pull factor" like the one you are suggesting. It was more a "push factor". It was me being honest with myself. I just don't believe that God has revealed himself in the way that I used to, and in the way you still think he has.

I wonder if any of the 'you never were' people in this thread have observed a person leaving a good relationship with another person. It has been known to happen. And it doesn't mean they never loved the person, or that the relationship wasn't real.

Just something to think about.

I answered your question, you may not like the answer.
It isn't something you have on your own, its a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Getting your butt kicked in life isn't a down fall and struggling with it isn't
either. The thing anyone who knows God knows is that He will NEVER leave us
or forsake us, those that do not have a relationship with God don't get that.
They are on their own running around in the name of God, but when they hit
something in this life that does not allow for anything less than God they
can crumble unless they do indeed turn to God, because without God we are
on our own.

So I again go back to what you had and what I have are not the samething.

We are talking about a relationship with God not another person. For those that
do leave the Christain faith as they put it, and now deny God completely shows
you that they never really had a relationship in the first place, they were just
playing.

How anyone can claim to have a relationship with an ancient Jewish Zombie is utterly beyond me?! 😕

this is simply untrue and cannot be established scripturally.

They did not have saving faith. They apparently had faith in something or someone else. Like the JWs have faith in the Watchtower and you have faith in your own intelligence. 😏
