In other words if the text’ meaning is not according to the writers but the readers, does it have any meaning at all since it is now purely subjective? If two can read the same text can they make it whatever they want or should they strive to find the real truth behind the text not private interpretations?
Nevertheless as I’ve said at least 4 times now, let’s leave aside who’s interpretation is right; you still cannot explain the incongruence in your interpretation of a God is LOVE vs a God who tortures people for eternity.
Please don’t tell me again what you believe, I know what you believe.

When you rewrite scripture is it because you know the original language and you are translating properly, or you just think it should say what you think it should?

I have explained it but it doesn’t fit your narrative. If you ignore text to suit you then only you have the only acceptable interpretation to you.

I'm not sure what you mean by "quoting this kind of passage..."
There are good and bad scriptures, some should be quoted and others avoided?
Now you are judging hearts, and what are good and bad scriptures too?
What do you do with these verses are they ones you don't quote because you think they are bad? How much of the Bible do you like and dislike?
