@secondson saidYou are mistaken. I do not "deny the existence of things supernatural". I never have.
You contradict yourself. You deny the existence of "things supernatural"
@secondson saidYes. I know about faith. I have experience of having faith. When it comes to objectivity and subjectivity, I am not contradicting myself at all.
You contradict yourself. You deny the existence of "things supernatural", yet presume to speak to the subject of faith with regards to the veracity of immutable truth and whether or not it's objective or subjective.
@secondson saidWe can only speculate about supernatural things. This speculation can be the basis for belief, and for faith, but it does not generate "objectively observable facts".
The fact that something exists is independent of anyone's subjective response to it. Therefore it is in that sense an objectively observable fact, an immutable truth.
@secondson saidI know exactly what it means when you use it. You use it like a kind of intensifier. You use it to signal your certainty about your personal articles of faith. You are applying it to your notions and aspirations regarding supernatural things and then declaring your opinions "objective".
Apparently you have a very hazy grasp of what "immutable" means.
