If someone is impressed by my 'Christian faith,' then I would say that they do not
know me very well.

You remind me of a poodle, standing in front of the fireplace after a long walk in the rain, drying .... wit ...[text shortened]... any unChristian comments in your
time as Bennett. The difference: you meant them.

Nemesio: "You are hardly better."

I never claimed I was, Mr.Drying Poodle.

Nemesio: "The difference: you meant them"

I thought I was a hypocrite. You accused me many many times of being one. Were you lying, Mr Drying Poodle ?

You are not a Christian. You are too much a coward of telling us what your conviction is. It is hardly a position to admire, Mr. Drying Poodle.

Now you remind me of St John 18:23.

You are being very holy tonight, Father Ivanhoe.

I think it is time for Ivanhoe to take a timeout. So, while he sits in the corner, I'm going to go work on my defense of premise (2) over a pint of Harp and shot of Lagavulin.

Cheers.

You do that, instead of sucking up to people and being a foulmouth.

Sorry, I just couldn't resist revealing Nemesio's little secret:

I'll have to confess that it's hard to take you seriously while you are
calling me a 'drying poodle.'

When I called you a hypocrite (and I don't even recall doing it), it was
because what you were doing was hypocritical.

When you are being hateful and insulting -- virtues which ought to be
foreign to any Christian -- your truthfulness is hardly inspiring (and nor
does it invalidate previous claims of hypocrisy).

Indeed, your being truthfully hateful and insulting and your claim of being
a Christian is hypocritical.

Congratulations, Ivanhoe! You are a truthful hypocrite!

Now you are reminding me of St Matthew 6:1-18, especially verses 7 and 8.

Is this another one of your planned explosions, Father Ivanhoe, where you
teach by example?

Why a poodle? Wouldn't a more annoying type of dog be more appropriate like one of those wiener dogs or the Taco Bell chihuahua?

Leave the Gospel out of this, you jerk.

You use the Word of God as a weapon against others in your pathetic arrogant rants and in your "humour" meant to degrade, ridicule and insult people, you jerk.

You are constantly misusing the Word of God in your religiously veiled ideological rants against the Right, you jerk.

Actually I hadn't thought of that; I just find that particular dog really annoying. I don't recall him citing the Gospels in the TV commercials however.
