Because Catholics are a miserable lot who think sex is dirty and to be shunned. Lol
Nah bro, I'll make way for some real Christians.

Surely Catholics are "the real Christians".
Protestants are just a break-away sect.

There is one meditator between God and man, it is Jesus Christ not a priest, or a pope.

1 Timothy 2:5
For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

The neutral zone is becoming more and more dangerous day by day

Edit: not that this answer is any more abstract than yours

So, just to be clear, because Catholics have priests and have a head of their church, you believe they are not "saved"? Yes?

What happened between 300 and 1500 ?
If god wanted protestant churches why did he put up with the Pope for so long.

PS. Do you think the Protestant sect has any life left?

Catholics who live according to the commandments of Christ will see the Kingdom of God. Like anyone else God looks at the heart of man, because from the heart there comes righteousness and good works or sin and evil. The thief on the cross was not taken to paradise because he called Jesus Lord, but because Jesus knew his heart was right with God, and had he lived he would have lived righteously.

All of humanity who live in righteousness and do good works will enter the Kingdom of God. The thing about Christians and faith is that they have mistakenly concluded that faith alone is sufficient. There are many statements in the bible which say that it is not enough and without righteousness and good works, faith is dead. Paul said faith is a clanging cymbal without good works.

Christian faith should lead to a life of righteousness and good works. If it does then those will enter the Kingdom of God. If it does not then these born again Christian saints will be destroyed according to Christ, Paul, Peter, James and John.

Im no fan of either, but protestants always existed. They just got their big mouth [Martin Luther] in 1500

Doesn't matter what anyone thinks.

1 John 4:15
Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

Confess-homologeĊ, to agree (with God), to say the same thing.

Add one more verse to that and we have:

Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God abideth in him, and he in God. And we know and have believed the love which God hath in us. God is love; and he that abideth in love abideth in God, and God abideth in him. (1 John 4:15-16 ASV)

God abides in all who abide in love.

Love is the fulfilment of the law
Love the greater than faith
Love conquers all

[Love = brotherly love / Charity]

Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

There's no access to God without faith. Faith is the key ingredient for salvation. Not works. Works follow after, and are the byproduct of genuine faith.
