Is Ron Paul's goal to help Romney win the nomination?

    http://news.yahoo.com/ron-paul-buys-time-michigan-potentially-boosting-romney-233150730--abc-news.html

If so, what is in it for Paul?

I thought Paul was there only to put forth libertarianism within the GOP. How would supporting Romney help achieve this?

It has been suggested that Romney has agreed to adopt some of Paul's goals in return for his delegates. Perhaps an audit of the federal reserve and maybe something else. This is just hearsay though. Who knows.

I must admit I am concerned Paul has sold out. I find this a bit troubling.

Sold out or cashed in? Hey, it's all part of that free market ideology. What's inconsistent?

What's in it for Paul?? Who knows? I do know that if Romney loses Michigan, there is a good chance he'll set a record for the most expensive losing campaign ever!

The rumors are really flying now.

People are actually accusing Ron Paul of a dark conspiracy. Hilarious!

Ron Paul is a leader of a dark conspiracy. He gets to push the certified Klan plan on the populous while at the same time Mitt Romney greases his palm with cash he can use to publish more copies of that newsletter he never reads. What is wrong with Paul selling out to Mitt. He should have no higher allegiance than to himself. Romney is only paying him from the lackey fund anyway. I'll bet you ten thousand dollars he's cheap.

You said it was a dark conspiracy. You can't have it both ways.

Ron Paul taking money from known racists is a conspiracy because he hides his true agenda. Ron Paul taking money from Mitt Romney is like the guy who washes the Cadillacs - he has a job. Ron has a job and Mitt Romney is his employer (that's how it works in the real world, get a haircut hippie!)
