I've already addressed my jokes in previous posts. I will call your moron advice exactly what it is. Your post had no obvious joke in it, so your advice might be interpreted as "ignore the problem because you're obviously blowing the situation out of proportion." That is crap advice to someone who is potentially in a dangerous situation.
As to an ...[text shortened]... u'll wonder if your words could potentially have helped or if they had harmed.
(I doubt you have brothers, if you did, you would know your advice is rubbish)

You didn’t answer my question.

Nothing I've said is rubbish. Your view of what does or does not consitute abuse is rubbish, and your view of when it becomes a big enough issue to report is rubbish.
Once you are adults, you're old enough to know better. The fact that you share a few genes and a living space doesn't change the fact that assault is assault, abuse is abuse, and there are laws against both. Domestic violence is no less serious (and I would venture to say is more serious) than random street violence.
You may have fought with your brothers, but how old were you when that stopped? Once you were adults did any of your brothers threaten you with a knife the way this kid says his brother did? That's assault and intimidation.
For myself, I'd just jump the guy and kick the crap out of him properly when I got the chance. That has already been offered and rejected as an option for this guy (not to mention it is no long term solution.) So what I've suggested is entirely resonable - Attempt to first make his parents aware of the gravity of the situation so that they can mediate, and if they cannot or will not understand that, then bring the issue to an authority beyond their control. I don't see how that could possibly be construed as rubbish.

So what advice of mine was crap in comparison with yours? In my last post you will see that I have suggested he speaks with the police to see what the situation with them would be - and before it becomes an emergency.
I would say that is better advice than a person offering to kick the crap out of Wolfie's brother. Also, I had previously advised him to talk to his mother. Parents should be dealing with this, but maybe an outside agency speaking with them would help them to resolve the situation in a more constructive way than more violence or courts. π
Now come down off your high horse and drink your milk!! π
As for you Wolfie (((hug))) π
