What is better?
If you are not a fighter (and I am a runner, not a fighter) Socratic dialogue can effectively soothe, infuriate or baffle an antagonist in some situations.
It depends.
If you are talking first punch of many, then i would probably have to say face. Unless the guy breaks your nose, you are likely to just be stunned for a while, and be able to get back into the frey. With your natuiral instinct being to protect the hurt area, your guard is automatically up, hence protection. Also, because the face is primarilly bone, ther is a fair chance that your opponent has just hurt his hand (unless he's a professional street fighter).
If you get a good punch to the stomach, especially if you are not ready for it, you could end up winded, doubled over, and in prize position for a kick to the head.......not so good.
So, i'd have to say.....face.
to recieve, of course
