I note that 32%+ (almost 1/3 of the threads above) were yours GB. What's the significance...if any?

Less if had rounded it up to 100 posts like any normal person. Then I might appreciate the work put in to compile the list but as it stands it remains nothing but masturbation.

Stees, my assumption was that at least 5% of this public forum's total threads for 2013 would be over 100 posts. What a surprise that it was considerably less. So, either scrap the thread idea or lower the threshold. The symmetry of nine hundred threads and ninety plus posts was the first set of numbers that came to mind. Even 31 threads is only a 3.4% of 900 total threads. How pitiful. This site's spirituality forum has fifty six threads with 100+ posts: 12.4% sustained conversations (56 threads of 450 total since June 1, 2013 on pages 2-16) vs. 3.4% in this once upon a time lively centerpiece forum.

Second surprise was that so many were mine; in recent months my threads seldom receive more than a dozen posts. Final sentence at the bottom was unplanned. It represents my conclusion that a break in the action made sense. Bet you a case of beer or bottle of fine wine that the Thumbs Down Total will reach at least six or seven or thirty one. lol All the best in 2014.

Driveways may be an appropriate metaphor for online private club forums; freeways would seem apropos of online public forums (another one would say lol). Point is that the greatest gift any of us can ever give to each other is the freedom of our own lives to live in responsibly. Cookie Cutter and One Size Fits All Mentalities zap the vigor and snuff the vitality out of any conversation online, on the phone or face to face. Might as well plan to fit out every new RHP Member with a Procrustean Bed at the time of his or her initial post or thread. A Not Our Kind Discriminatory Center of Influence is always deadly.
