Robbie, stop being a moron, i know it's hard for you.
My first question was, do you believe homosexuality is a sin?
Do you believe gay people will be aloud into heaven?
yes homosexuality is a serious sin
no i do not believe gay people will be aloud into heaven

on the contrary my position is perfectly clear. a person that is a dedicated member of the congregation that succumbs to a serious sin, whether it is gluttony, immorality, homosexuality whatever, shall be given the opportunity and assistance that is needed to help them overcome their particular problem, if they refuse the help, they are clearly unre ...[text shortened]... the principle behind the blending of garments, if it exists, seeing that you are so taken by it.
Do you actively speak to all the overweight members of your congregation to give them the "opportunity and assistance" that is needed to "help them overcome their particular problem"? What help have you offered them? Has anyone refused this "help"?
If an overweight person wishes to become part of the congregation, are they refused membership until they no longer feel compelled to overeat? What constitutes demonstrated repentance? Must they lose all the weight or only demonstrate that the weight is coming off and claim that they no longer have the compulsion?

Shame on you.

Explain what you mean by "confusing a moral issue with a physical one" and how this applies to both homosexuality and gluttony (specifically overeating).

I had so much respect for you robbie...
(what do you mean by SERIOUS sin? as opposed to waging war? or hording food while others starve?)
Originally posted by ThinkOfOneyou state that overweight is a sign of gluttony, not always the case, gluttony takes many forms, for example alcohol abuse may be deemed gluttonous, but the alcoholic may not be overweight, thus you are confusing a moral issue with a physical one, gluttony is a moral issue. i will say it once more, we had better start with an appraisal of the term gluttony, otherwise, you will never discern how it may apply.

Whether or not other forms of gluttony, such as alcohol abuse, show the same signs is irrelevant.
You continue to try to dance around the questions.

Originally posted by ThinkOfOnetherefore you are limiting your interpretation to one specific aspect, why would you do that? also there are many other medical reasons why a person my 'look', overweight, for example water retention, slow metabolism etc. etc., plus, and this is the most damning refutation of your approach, we are counselled not to judge by any mere appearance to the eyes,

You spout in the science forum how you're a 'original thinker' and how the rest of us just regurgitate other people's thoughts whilst you do the same.
I didn't know this part of JW's views, i pity the next one that steps on my doorstep!!!!
