The importance of the Trinity

The importance of the Trinity

Spirituality

1 edit

The Importance of the Trinity is also seen in that through God the Father is brought INTO all the members of the Body of Christ. That is the Father Who is "over all" by Jesus Christ and through the Holy Spirit become the Father who is "IN All" . That is in all the members of church the Body of Christ.

"Being diligent to keep the oneness of the Spirit in the uniting bond of peace:
One Body and one Spirit, even as also you were called in one hope of your calling;
One Lord, one faith; one baptism;
One God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and IN ALL." (Eph. 4:3-6
my caps]

We can see here the Trinity's economy is to dispense God into His redeemed people. What the Triune God does cannot be separated from what the Triune God is.

Who asked you anything about that. Jesus was with the Father before the creation. He was the Son BEFORE.

FATHER AND SON WERE THERE BEFORE....LONG BEFORE.

If somebody needs to prove to you who appeared first and how the second person arrived then you need to go back to kindergarten.
Then pinpoint the time through scripture where God the Father wasn't God the Father? As I pointed Jesus doesn't change, He was the same yesterday, today, and forever, and we also know God doesn't change, but you would have us believe He does, so where is your supporting scripture. Do you think God gets to be more God one day than the next, does He improve with time, show your scriptures.

You are an idiot and even worse is you are a YEC who believes that the universe is 6000 yrs old. The scripture is a short history of some of the events of mostly the Jews from the creation of man to Christ. The scripture therefore will not contain the proof you think people need to believe that Father and Son were there before, and therefore one must have been born or begotten of the other. Put on your dunce cap and shut up now.

The Importance of the Trinity is also seen in the Three being all involved in causing Christ to make His home in the hearts of His people - strengthening them into this realm, into this enjoyment of the indwelling God.

"For this cause I bow my knees unto the FATHER, of whom every family in the heavens and on earth is named, That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His SPIRIT into the inner man, that CHRIST may make His home in your hearts through faith. . . ." (Eph. 3:14-17)

I wrote a song to this passage also:

"His Spirit in the Inner Man"

Nothing we are discussing has anything to do with how old the universe is, where is your scripture supporting Jesus was created?

Psalm 90:2
Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.

Revelation 1:8 ESV
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

John 1:1 ESV
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Hebrews 13:8 ESV
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Where are the verses, that God created Jesus?

So that is all you got, insult me, and that takes care of the fact you have no Biblical text that shows Jesus was created? Your insults only show you have no idea what you are talking about concerning Jesus being a created being.

No, Pathetic is the guy who says there is no such thing as dinosaurs because the universe is 6,000 yrs old, plus they are not mentioned in the bible.

When you see someone say that call them on it. What text says Jesus was created, what text says God the Father wasn’t always God the Father? Changing the subject to something I don’t believe does not change anything with respect to Jesus being created or not.

You really kinda thick. The bible does not have to spell out events that happened prior to the creation. That is why dinosaurs and Neanderthals are not mentioned. The fact that one is FATHER and the other is SON, and the Father had begotten the Son, means that the Son was created or born at some time AFTER THE FATHER .

I don’t care what you think about dinosaurs or anything else in this thread. Put up your scriptural references with respect to Jesus being created.
