I had 2 games left in my group where the opponent had run out of time. However as I was in a winning position in both games I didn't click the skull. He then put up his vacation flag (I guess because he had a crazy number of games going). After a week where he didn't move, I was awarded both matches as Time Out wins. Weird, as I didn't skull him.

The automatic timeout must take a while. Time has expired for at least a few days in some of the games left. Does anyone know how long a game has to be expired before some automatic timeout kicks in.
Yes, kind of defeats the purpose of trying to finish by a date. Could be a long time to finish if instead of a time bank only, it becomes a two day time limit with no time bank once the time bank is gone. Of course at any point, the player can just move and then immediately claim the skull.

What it says in tournament help, is auto timeouts are run PERIODICALLY with a 2 days grace, presumably after the run
There's no indication when the auto timeout funtion runs -once a week?, once a month?,when Russ decides to impliment it?
