    https://www.yahoo.com/gma/republican-jewish-coalition-calls-resignation-7-democrats-over-075003263--abc-news-topstories.html

The Republican Jewish Coalition is calling for the resignation of seven Democratic members of Congress whom it claims are "connected" to controversial Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan. The group describes him as a "known anti-Semite."

Farrakhan has routinely spoke disparagingly about Jews over the years, as well as white people, in general. He was thrust into the mainstream spotlight again this week after excerpts from a speech he gave last week on the Nation of Islam's Saviour's Day surfaced online. During the speech, he once again described Jewish people -- who he says "are my enemy" -- in a pejorative manner.

The lobbying group on Tuesday called for the following lawmakers to step down: Reps. Keith Ellison, D-Minn.; Barbara Lee, D-Calif.; Maxine Waters, D-Calif.; Danny Davis, D-Ill.; Andre Carson, D-Ind.; Gregory Meeks, D-N.Y.; and Al Green, D-Texas.

The aforementioned lawmakers have at one point in their careers while in the House -- but not necessarily anytime recently nor with any frequency -- met Farrakhan. In a report it published Tuesday, The Daily Caller outlined the various previous interactions, based on videos and photos.

ABC News has reached out to each of the seven lawmakers for comment on the Republican Jewish Coalition's call for their resignations.

Davis told The Daily Caller in a statement Monday, without specifically addressing Farrakhan, anti-Semitism is "antithetical to everything I believe and everything that I work for on a daily basis."

Davis also described Farrakhan as an "outstanding human being."

We all know racism is a one way street, don't we.

We can all claim Trump is a racist merely because we don't think he condemns racists harshly enough, but if you are a Dim you can meet with open racists and praise them and be just fine.

First ask your president---who has connections to the alt-right (known for their anti-semitism) and was praised multiple times by a KKK Grand Wizard, was on the KKK's front page of their official newspaper (and is a group also known for antisemitism), and said that there were "good people" on the side of white supremacist during the Charlottesville protest (who chanted anti-Semitic rhetoric with tiki torches)---to step down.

Ok Mr. Red Herring, please try again.

Please tell me what openly racist leader did Trump meet with or any member of the GOP Congress meet with like these Dims did? These wild speculations as to whether they are really racist is a whole other issue.

I could care less what nonsense these racists quacks are spewing outside the government. They will be there regardless.

Again, what racists say is one thing, but what our political leaders say and associate with is another.

I know this is hard, because you have no legs to stand on here apparently, but please hold our ELECTED leaders accountable for who they associate with.

    Is this really that hard?

We can speculate all day as to who is racist or who is not, but when we actively embrace hate filled racists that is an open and closed case against their racism.

Wait....so associating with people known for racist rhetoric is worse than actually being someone who says and does racist things? Like when Trump called black countries "sh&tholes"? Or called Mexicans immigrants rapists? Or was charged by the Nixon administration---who was INFAMOUS for racism against blacks and Jews---for not treating blacks fairly?

    You're a picture-perfect conservative.

White racists will support a white man and black racists will support a black candidate.

    There is nothing new here.

The question becomes, do the politicians then meet with them and embrace them?

Dims do, the GOP does not.

    Lies.

IF Trump meet with David Duke and embraced him he should be labeled a racist, but to my knowledge this has never happened.

However, we have Congressmen meeting and embracing with a known racist, should they not be labeled a racist as well?

The GOP embraced Trump. Your argument is invalid.

Fox News had Mark Fuhrman as a regular contributor to their network. Racists are a big hit with conservatives.
