Is it now ok in America to make personal attacks on dead opponents in order (try) to gain political points?

Ok forget common decency, what about party unity. Wasn’t McCain also a Republican?

When Trump came into office, the Republican Party gave up any fig-leaf or pretense of dignity. A brace of top Republicans all held their collective noses and walked back their earlier comments that were disparaging honest and direct and overnight became his cheer squad.

Any given week just ask the question, what if Obama had done that, and imagine the paroxysms of dire warnings and portents of doom that would have issued from Fox News......but with Trump....nada, niks, not a thing! what does that tell you of his party other than being a mob of spineless sycophants???

Trump is nothing but a lazy thieving loser punk who has made all his money off the sweat of other hard working individuals. The five time draft dodger has the nerve to say that McCain is not a war hero after him being shot down and spending five years being tortured as a prisoner of war. Trump says he was not a war hero because he was captured; does that tell one how he feels about those killed in service? Mr. five time draft dodger said his Vietnam was not to get VD during the 1960s early 70s. He is a worthless to God and America piece of scum and always will be; that goes for those that still support the lying draft dodger POS who dishonors true America war heroes who actually served. Remember, McCain had enough money in his family to dodge the draft also; however, he was a unselfish man, unlike Dump.

Everybody’s made up their mind about Trump (including me) and this news just adds a layer of confirmation to the way the mind has been made up. Anything contrary will be rejected. And so it goes.

It’s quite awful that he is tolerated by a party just because he draws a particular vote, and bizarre that the party leadership don’t see the longer term damage being done to a reputation which will need deep cleansing of the stench of this man once he dies, gets assassinated or finally loses office.

McCain went against Trump on everything.
So did the other republicans Trump beat in the primaries.
Instead of being graceful in defeat and moving on to help the people and republicans they chose to go against him on everything.
It's pretty obvious when you see the same ones voting against anything he proposed.
It was the republicans he beat in the primaries!
That's the mentality of a child.
    War hero my ass.

War hero's are brave men/women who risk their lives to save others. Courageous in battle and possibly being the sole reason why a battle was won.
    That's a war hero.
Being captured and surviving is not a war hero.

"Libertarian" is a political ideology. Trump doesn't have a political ideology, his statements are an incoherent soup of bigotry, ignorance, projection, vanity and personal vendettas.
