Beautiful news for Nationalists and Christians who want to see Europe remain European in its identity:

Hungary’s Viktor Orbán has told supporters he will use his third consecutive election victory as an opportunity to advance into a “new era”, with Central Europe becoming a bastion of Christian culture and nation-state democracy as multicultural globalism turns liberal democracies into “liberal non-democracies”.
Speaking at an event in the predominantly ethnic Hungarian region of Székely Land in Romania, the Fidesz leader said he was looking forward to the end of the present European Commission led by Jean-Claude Juncker, and to elections to the European Parliament in 2019 — which he predicts will for the first time revolve around one common European issue: mass migration.

Orbán said these elections would provide an opportunity to block “the great goal of transforming Europe and moving it towards a post-Christian and post-national era” and hand a heavy defeat to “the elite of ’68” and their liberal democratic system.

I think that we are seeing the rise of a healthy and strong central & eastern Europe that focuses on rediscovering itself.

Rising nationalism... increasing authoritarianism and attacks on democracy and the press...

Where have we seen this before? Did you like the results of the previous try?

Right, democracy is failing because the billions & billions of dollars meant to advance the globalist agenda are not given free reign to control the press and misrepresent natioanlists.

    but tell me...

What is wrong with nationalism? What is wrong with nations being governed in the name of, and iwth the identity of, the people who live there?

Would you like to draw me some cartoon of what you think Nationalism is? Save it.

    Oh yeah, that's RIGHT,

    All nationalism = Nazism...

But... Not all Socialism is Marxism; socialism is nuanced. Left wing thought is nuanced.

But nationalist thought, right wing thought? Zero ability to be remotely nuanced, subtle, or substantive.

Kazet, you are not a serious thinker. I thought that you were -- but I guess you just have something of a high verbal IQ and can string together words beautifully here and there, but at the end of the day, you are like a scared old woman when it comes to new ideas.

It isn't the 60s anymore. Get with the times.

LOL, what are you talking about? What do you mean by this non-sequitur?

What kind of point is this?

Christianity transcends nations and is a historic part of Hungarian identity and you are like... "... HE WASN'T EUROPEAN!" as if you have pointed out something meaningful.

I think I can piece it together, though: You, like Kazet, think in cartoons, and anyone to the right of Lindsay Graham is some kinda Nazi, and so... You just made a point, because you think we all hate the fact that Christ was not European..?

    Childish understanding of the world.

I don’t see how both can triumph unless the same people are in charge of both, in which case their succession systems are combined into one. That seems bloody and destructive of both.

I am neither "left wing" nor "socialist."

Nationalism is a dangerous ideology, because it implies that one person is fundamentally different or even worth more than the other by virtue of their birth. It's how World War II was allowed to happen, and it's how World War III will happen. It's why people like you accept that children are taken from their parents and put in cages or people drown in the Mediterranean by the thousands - and it's why people like you put Jews, Roma, gays and other "undesirables" in the gas chambers.

It's fine to tout new ideas.
But I think that one talks out of both sides of one's mouth when promoting new thinking and Christianity simultaneously.

    Religion is obsolete.

I opted out of superstitious religious beliefs when the church wouldn't offer communion wafers in sour cream and onion flavor. 😀

Horthy was not as extreme right-wing, however, as the Arrow Cross, which followed him.

In fact, there are many black Christians in Africa. (Ethiopia's Christian heritage runs deep
and predates the arrival of any European missionaries.) But the racist Philokalia objects
even to Christian African migration to Europe because the immigrants are black.

Nationalism naturally tends towards suppression of minorities and aggression towards other nations.
