    1. Knowing that you have absolute control over government, the media, the courts, education, and every other aspect of human existence with virtually no opposition whatsoever.

Bout sums it up. Everyone else are racists, bigots, crazy, extremists, and dim witted evangelicals.

Don't Republicans control both houses of Congress? Isn't Fox News the number one news station by far?

Delusional disorder is a psychiatric condition in which the patients present with delusions, but with no accompanying prominent hallucinations, thought disorder, mood disorder, or significant flattening of affect.[1][2] Delusions are a specific symptom of psychosis. Non-bizarre delusions are fixed false beliefs that involve situations that could potentially occur in real life; examples include being followed or poisoned.[3] Apart from their delusions, people with delusional disorder may continue to socialize and function in a normal manner and their behaviour does not generally seem odd or bizarre.[4] However, the preoccupation with delusional ideas can be disruptive to their overall lives.[4] For the diagnosis to be made, auditory and visual hallucinations cannot be prominent, though olfactory or tactile hallucinations related to the content of the delusion may be present.[5]

    Sure they are.

They promote big government, big military, and Big Brother via the NSA.

They are the most progressive humans on the planet.

For whodey, "progressives" are the all-encompassing, amorphous (and non-existent) enemy set out to get him. Even though whodey has never managed to formulate a coherent picture of what he would want for America, these "progressives" are out to thwart his plans. Sometimes he uses the apparently equivalent terms "statists," "socialists," "Marxists," or "Muslims."

Progressives are just collectivists. Through out history they are a dime a dozen, Hitler, Stalin Mao, Chavez, etc. They seek to centralize power and obtain as much power as possible. Their goals are to point out the never ending problems within society and seek the said centralized government to "fix" them. Of course, this leads to never ending power given to that centralized government. And as we all know, power corrupts. The more power given to a person or group of people, the more corrupt they become.

I've touted my solution time and again but am ignored. The US needs to return to a balanced government. State governments need to rise up and amend the Constitution via Article V under the Constitution and begin to reclaim power that has been stripped from them. The federal government needs to be restrained. The first amendments should be for term limits and for some sort of balanced budget amendment. Hell, I would just crack a smile if they actually passed a budget. But instead, they would rather sit around and talk about gay sex. Why any government is so preoccupied with peoples sex lives is beyond me and how they use it to divide and conquer the populace is disgusting. In fact, why are they even involved in marriage at all? But this is what happens with a collectivist government. They have their fingers in everything and have all inclusive one size fits all solutions for everything.

In short, their ideas are wonderful they become compulsory for everyone. I just fail to believe that there are such all inclusive solutions for everyone, let alone anyone with the wisdom to come up with them.

I always live by the motto that none of us are as smart as all of us. That was the attempt at the founding of the US government, but sadly we now have one man calling all the shots in the Oval Office. Why that one man decides everything from what doctor I see to how my child is being educated in kindergarten is beyond me. If he is going to continue, he will need another thousand or so czars to try and hold it all together.

Those who purport to love democracy should embrace this. After all, the US federal Congress only has a 10% approval rating, and the President typically has an approval rating of under 50%, yet they persist.

Additionally, about 80% of the population thinks that federal politicians should all have term limits and that there should be some sort of balanced budget amendment.

Of course, we all know that collectivists could care less about democracy, which is why they feel the need to continuously lie to voters. After all, who would vote for Obama or those in Congress if they knew what they would do some day?

It's best not to address my post. Just keep up the personal attacks.

    Just some friendly advice.

So you want to limit democracy and increase the power of local elites. Also you want to pass something that is economic folly i.e. that will be worsen economic downturns.

The rest is just typical raving. Proposing anti-democratic measures like term limits and then crowing that some other group couldn't care less about democracy is laughable.

Yes, we know. Democracy would die minus the country being run by Executive edict and an army of unelected bureaucrats in the Executive branch.

Oh, and we would all be dying in the streets without the collectivist rod of iron ruling over us all.

    Thanks for that.
