Things are turning ugly in the GOP ranks these days. "The Donald" has gotten so nasty and abrasive with his attacks, even the GOP fateful are beginning to squirm. Jeb Bush and other mainstream Republicans are now calling one of their own a fascist. If Trump goes independent (and there is a good chance he will) he'll split up the GOP vote, and hand the White House over to Hillary Clinton. If he runs as a Republican, he will have alienated so many people, that Hillary will seem like a good choice. Donald Trump is becoming the gift that keeps on giving...to the Democrats!

It was not long ago The Donald was singing the praises of Hillary Clinton for her outstanding work as a NY Senator. Could The Donald be going independent to deliberately throw the election to Hillary, or could he be planning to go independent because he (and his ego) does not want to share the spotlight with his fellow Republicans?

I had been thinking along those lines from the time Trump entered the race.
