Why do you choose to perceive them as anything other than metaphors?

I've talked about the one and I gave you the reasons and you still didn't get it. I doubt you
will get anything else I say if that didn't get through to you.

Explain the metaphor for the Spirit hovering over the water when the human race wasn't
here yet?

It "wasn't even here yet"? There were no metaphors until humans invented them.

You were basically incoherent when we talked a out it before. You basically described what was your own cherry picking.

i think he had an epileptic fit. an epileptic fit can cause both temporary blindness and hearing voices.

paul saw a bright light, went blind for three days and heard voices. anything else added to the story i believe is exageration.
OK, so you aren't a Christian.

As there isn't actual evidence about what precisely happened... The evidence that I use is that Saul of Tarsus, who formerly persecuted Christians and apparently was responsible for some of their deaths, rapidly became the most revered teacher in Christianity, and the foremost authority on it. He advanced the cause beyond everyone else.

If you accept that Christ is God, and you accept that God inspired the people and chose the proper ones to carry on the message, then there is an article of faith here where we accept the story about Paul because our traditions are accurate and God would not allow them to be corrupted by a single person.

If you are already an atheist, then why should I care that you feel this way, Moggy?

You probably think the same of Christ Himself.

We look at things from completely different perspectives, it will be rare when we sync up and agree.

You pick and choose what's metaphorical and not metaphorical like cherries.

You used to deny that you did. Steadfastly. So there has been some progress.

Not true you would have to provide the text and context.
