Yes it is a self-centered approach
(My center is around the pit of my stomach)
I am an advocate for truth, I have even advocated
    jesus' teachings to some people.
Am I getting defensive?, Have I not made myself clear enough?
You are really trying my patience and I'm going to take that postively, hopefully to become more patient and to grow my own knowledge-Based on direct experience with the divine and not taken from a 2000 year old history book๐Ÿ˜›

I think you have been quite clear, you got a feeling and that is truth
    for you.

I was thinking about your truth detector feelings, if you get a bank
notice saying your over drawn and you feel it isn't correct, do you
always find the bank is wrong?

    Good question.
    When I was younger,probably yes
Not these days . I'm quite prepared to admit when I am wrong (as I have done on several posts)

I drop a stone on my foot- i get a feeling, that is truth for me.
Whether the stone hit my foot or my foot hit the stone-thats just an interpretation of what happened and both could be said to be true.
(this simple scenario can illustrate how complicated things can get after the FACT)

Do you think experiences and feelings are close to the same thing
or quite different when it comes to how we look at what we think is
    truth?

Feelings are just one of my multitude of my experiences.
Isn't it quite clear(ganerally) what experiences and feelings are.
Are you trying to bait me?๐Ÿ˜
(if you are I will probably take it๐Ÿ™‚)

No, I was just wondering what you thought about it. experiences to me
are an active thing we go through in my opinion.

I wasn't thinking of feelings as experiences as I asked you that
question, I was thinking of events that I go through as being an
experience. Sitting in meditation is also an event I guess so you can
have feelings while doing something or not, so I guess my question
    wasn't very fair.

I just noticed your little blurb- belief or fact?
Thats just the sort of saying that gets me hot and horny

So have we finished our little discussion?
It has certainly made me wonder about a few things

I have followed some of your other threads,(the one in the science forum(about eyes) for example). You are definatly not as bad as some of your other detractors have made you out to be

I think Jude 7 covers the eternal suffering in hell pretty well. Granted, you might quibble whether or not "fire" ands "hell" are interchangeable in that passage; still, "they" are people who the Bible says are "undergoing a punishment of eternal fire."
