Omar is once again in the spot light as she marginalized what happened on 9/11 as "some people doing some things".

    Wow!

No, she didn't "marginalize" 9/11 and her point, even if not artfully expressed, was valid.

    EDIT: Her exact quote:

"Here's the truth. For far too long we have lived with the discomfort of being a second-class citizen and, frankly, I'm tired of it, and every single Muslim in this country should be tired of it. Cair was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties."

That is all true; in another thread the usual suspects are saying Muslims shouldn't be allowed to be in Congress.

What took you so long? We were expecting your dumb ass parroting a partisan hack ages ago.

It's funny that you got this crap from Crenshaw or Fox News which took it shamelessly out of context but you chose to link a bbc article on the matter to appear respectable but you forgot to read the fukin article yourself. If you did, you would have realized it clearly says she was taken out of context and it would have been obvious what she meant from her full speech.

Whodey, why are you such a joke?

LOL..."taken out of context" I actually was watching when she first said it. No lying out of this.

It is clear that she is a Muslim and therefore biased towards Islam. It is then understandable that she does not hold Islam responsible for 9/11 in any way, which is why she is down playing that day by saying that 'some people did some things'.

Naturally, you believe this as well and have no problem with her down playing the event to help shield the religion you think has no culpability in the mass killing.

    Is this not right?

    "It's about the Benjamin's baby!"

Such anti-Semitic statements reveal her bias against Israel due to her religious upbringing. Her down playing Islam's role in terrorism is another example.

Nothing you say to her, or those that defend her, can convince them otherwise.

...but Trump can help the most brutal Muslim regime on the face of the planet get nuclear weapons. 15 of the 19 hijackers on 911 were Saudis.

Trump is doing some things. Wow! The republicans are fine with that. They think MBS will behead his way out of his people's hatred for him and the US for supporting the most brutal dictator in the whole world.

Still think it will end well?

Nobody is more antisemitic than the Saudi Kingdom. They teach it in their schools to create more generations of Jew haters. Trump loves them though. Why does his son in law stay silent? Why does Henry Kissinger condone it while advising Trump? He is Jewish too.

I guess American Jews love Jew haters that teach their children the hate Jews. Makes perfect sense.

Pretty much all Islamic regimes are like this. What would you have Trump do, declare war on them all?

In fact, North Korea is like this as well. Should he declare war on them?

What Trump does NOT do is refuse to utter the words, Islamic terrorism, like Obama refused to do. Obama simply did not want innocent Muslims to suffer from anger directed at them for the religion that played a role in terrorism.

Fort Hood was a shining example of how Obama down played Islamic terrorism like Omar does. It was terrorism directly linked to the attackers religion yet it was labeled something other than.

Meanwhile, Obama had no problem feeding into the notion that law enforcement was racist as innocent white police officers were being assassinated all around the country.

    Go figure.

How about not wage war on any of them? Doesn't that make more sense?
I guess you have to hate at least some of them so you don't waste all that hate building up in you.

So you agree with how Trump handles things? Trump is the ONLY president in a long time not to cause a regime change around the country.

More Republican hypocrisy. Trump brags about sexually assaulting women, it's "locker room talk".

But Trump's a rich white man, so Reps seek Muslim women to beat on for poor wording.
