I have complaints about that, however, that raping was a one time deal. Now we have the oppurtunity to create entitlement programs and such that will be created and be continued long after Obama is gone. This, of course, is all in addition to the overwhelming debt we are drowning in now. No worries though, when it all hits the fan we can all revert to blaming "W" for our troubles.

I hope your right. You have 4 years to prove me wrong and, rest assured, I will be waiting and watching.

Of course it will be later.
Any person who knows about economics knows that there are in average 7-year delays, usually between 5-9 years.

We will have a great economy between 2010-2014, but after 2014 we will suffer.
But at least as a tax accountant, this is great job security; hardly anyone will be able to do their own taxes in the future.

MORE TAXES - YES OBAMA! Kill middle class, Yes for socialism!

Remember that Clinton signed Welfare Reform which restricted entitlements. Democrat and entitlements do not always go hand in hand..

Nevermind the fact that President Clinton fixed the economy and fixed the trajectory of the national debt with similar policies to Obama's, eh?

He had to in order to get elected. I don't fault him for that in the slightest, either.

President Clinton managed to fix the economy (and greatly reduce the crime rate) within four years, thus earning himself a second term.

I back Obama but if McCain were to have won, I would respect that and hope for wisdom and vision.

You anti-Obama people seem to want him to fail. That to me points to your wish for America to fail. And you say that Obama backers are anti-American. You better look in the mirror.

The conservative right is truly in a sad state of affairs. As true Americans(??), how can you not want Obama to make decisions to allow us to turn around? Is your pride worth more than American success?

When/if Obama is elected, I hope he does not fail. I hope that he will be like Bill Clinton and work to the center and not try to implement leftist programs such as Socialized Medicine. I hope that Obama doesn't fail by throwing Israel under the bus and giving the Islamic world a free pass to wipe Israel off the face of the earth.

If Obama attemtps to throw Israel under the bus or implement leftist programs, I hope he fails and gets replaced by an adminstration that will fix what Obama attempted to break.

You seem to forget that Bill and Hillary Clinton DID try to implement "socialized medicine" -- which is how healthcare is done in most of the 36 countries with better healthcare systems than the US. Unfortunately, Republicans and unethical scum in high positions in the medical lobby derailed the Clinton healthcare reform attempt. No doubt President Clinton would still have fixed the economy if the healthcare reform attempt had been successful.
