This text I found at http://www.shiptogaza.se/node/478

I did an autotranslation with google/translator, sorry for low quality, but you'll get the picture of it:

"a separate port in the Mediterranean, waiting for a small craft on a special mission. She will sail to Gaza. To avoid such sabotage not reveal the date of departure or the name of the port, it will be released from until just before departure.

"Our aim is to end the blockade of Gaza, the illegal collective punishment of an entire civilian population. Our boat is small, so our aid can only be symbolic: we take with us, school bags, filled with things that are donated by the German school children, musical instruments and art materials. We also take us to essential medicines and medical equipment for little care, and to the fishermen we have nets and other fishing equipment. We coordinate with medical, educational and psychiatric institutions in Gaza.

"By attacking the convoy of Freedom, Israel has once again shown a monstrous brutality of the outside world. One I know there are many Israelis who with compassion and courage campaigning for a just peace. As journalists from a familiar television programs included on the boat, so Israel has a chance to show the world that there is another way, a way of courage and not fear, path of hope and not hate, "says Edith Lutz, organizer and the passengers on "the Jewish boat".

"The Jewish voice" (The Jewish voice for a just peace in the Middle East), together with her friends in EJJP (European Jews for a just from the Middle East) and Jews for the right degree for Palestinians (UK) invites world leaders to help Israel get back to sense, a sense of humanism and a life without fear. "Jewish vote" expect the political leaders in Israel and abroad will guarantee a safe passage for our little boat and thus helps build a foundation for peace.

the muslims should give back all the land they took since the 7th century and go home...just like the muslims want the israelis to do....what is good for the goose as advice is good for the gander....the muslims took land outside of arabia by the sword and have occupied these lands ever since...so take the advice those who
wear the burqa...take your own advice and go home ( to mecca and medina ) and then perhaps the jews will follow your example and leave israel....right ?

In what way has this anything to do with humanitarian Jews sending aid to Gaza?

My point with this thread is that this is not a fight between Jews and Muslims. And the Jewish ship to Gaza shows that. Even some Jews think that this blockade has gotten to far.

    many jews actually!
I think all my jew friends (4) are against this blocus and find israel policy too hard. Half of them are even clearly pro-palestinian.
(true i don't have so many right wing friends)

maybe this blocus can be compared to the ones against cuba and iraq...those who suffer are the weak, not the leaders.

the only humanitarian loss in gaza is in the dark heart of it's residents.

ten thousand pounds of supplies flow into gaza by truck daily.

the "shortage" in gaza is in brains and in love.

israel cannot deliver this to gaza.

You disagree with the UN's assessment on the ground then?

the united nations is not an honest broker and has it's agenda and quite willing cooperates with the foreign press to not disclose truth.

the lack of employment in gaza has to do with the the socialist nature of the government there and the dislike of the residents for isreali models of success.
as an example. on the voluntary withdrawel of the isrealis from gaza the successful greenhouse gardens that the isreali farmers had built were vandalized and destroyed by the gaza residents ( because they hated all things jewish )...so
instead of seeing a successful model for green vegetable gardening and taking over the farms to use them they broke everything and then wondered where they would get green vegetables to sell. the palestinian's should have taken over the greenhouse farms, examined them and replicted them and could now be exporting green vegetable to egypt or lebanon as well as for home use. instead they have
broken greenhouses and a lost opportunity.

so much for the product of hatred.

indeed, the poor bastards are the scum of the earth, they should just leave and give up their land to the israelis.

israel cannot deliver this to gaza.

especially considering they're too busy delivering bombs, airstrikes, bullets, etc

Nothing, its just an example of how lowly those palestinians are - they don't even care to have a job!
