Brendan Tevlin was a 19-year old from New Jersey who had just finished his freshman year at the University of Richmond. Like many kids his age, he played sports and video games. He also liked to surf. Brendan also played the bagpipes and was a Eucharistic minister at his church. But none of those things led to his tragic death. What led to Brendan’s death is that he was an American.

Ali Muhammad Brown, 29, was charged with the murder of 19-year old Brendan Tevlin on June 18th. Brown also confessed to killing two people, Ahmed Said and Dwone Anderson-Young, in Seattle on June 1. In addition, he was also charged with shooting another man, Leroy Henderson, in the Skyway area of Seattle in April. All of the men were killed with a 9 mm handgun.

There is consistency in Brown’s statement to police in both King County in Seattle, and Essex County, N.J. He told authorities that he was doing his small part as vengeance for U.S. actions in the Middle East.

Q13 FOX in Seattle reports that Brown described the killing of Tevlin to authorities in New Jersey as a ‘just kill’ which he defined as as a target that was an adult male, not a woman, child or elderly person. Brown stated, ““My mission is vengeance. For the lives, millions of lives are lost every day,” he reportedly said. “Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, all these places where innocent lives are being taken every single day … All these lives are taken every single day by America, by this government. So a life for a life.”

Todd Pettingill, radio host of The Todd Show in the Morning, on 95,5 in New York, discussed this jihad killings on his radio show. He said, “If there was ever a reason to riot in the streets in the name of humanity, it would be for this case. But, has that happened? No. And I’m not suggesting that it should. What did the friends of family of Brendan Tevlin do? They had a candlelight vigil. What I am suggesting should happen is that this should be talked about and written about and the American people should know. Why is Eric Holder not visiting the Tevlin family? Why is the President not going to mention Brendan Tevlin tonight? He was a young boy who was killed…for being an American.”

This is close to home, and a reason I always carry my gun.. I just finish a hundred rounds with my oldest, who lives up north.. and will continue to do so, until I can not see....

How come you're so concerned about this guy killing Tevlin but not the three black gays he killed in Washington State? http://www.thestranger.com/seattle/religious-fanatic-claims-to-have-murdered-gay-men/Content?oid=20439151

BTW the alleged killer is an American, too.

Why should people 'riot in the streets' in this case? What purpose would it serve?

Rioting is exhausting and dangerous. If I have extra time after work and family, I'm going to veg out and watch the hockey game. People who have the time and energy to riot must have too much time on their hands.

I googled images of Brendan Tevlin , then Ali Muhammad Brown.

Disgusting that a young white teen like Tevlin had his life full of promise snuffed out by a vicious stupid sack of garbage like Brown.

While I agree entirely that it's "disgusting that a young teen like Tevlin had his life full of promise snuffed out by a vicious stupid sack of garbage like Brown" I don't know what "white" has to do with it. It would be equally tragic whatever Tevlin's color was and Brown is equally reprehensible whatever his color. Using the term "white" just distracts from the point. The point is that an innocent person was shot down by a religious extremist for a reprehensible reason. That's bad enough as it is.

It's easy to Google and find images of Brendan Tevlin (go to any of the usual right wing sites).

It's not so easy to find images of Dwone Anderson-Young, Ahmed Said and Leroy Henderson all also allegedly killed by Ali Muhammad Brown.

    Wonder why.

I intentionally put "white" in the description because nobody else has a problem when a victim is described as black, hispanic, etc.
For that matter, media and libtards love to put in race when praising someone, like "brilliant black journalist, etc"
But say brilliant white whatever and everybody cries racism.

Because Tevlin had an active family life and social life and they took a lot of pictures. The others only had mug shots taken.
That's not hard to figure out is it?
It's typical you would infer sort of racism was involved.

You think they only had mug shots because they were black?

Their parents weren't interviewed on Fox News and no high schools were named after them.

    Wonder why.

Anderson-Young had a degree in Communications from the University of Washington and worked in the IT Department at Harborview Medical Center.

But to you I'm sure he was just a "thug".

Brendon was involved in "mischief" apparently.

    So what's your beef?

Oh hell the media ran with pictures of Trayvon Martin and Michael "gentle giant" Brown from when they were in diapers trying to make them look all sweet and innocent, so what's your point?

I am concerned with the WA murders as well... you just can't see it.. but is that a surprise,,? you don't see as much as you like to think in almost all posts..
That was a cut and paste, so your beef is with the author of the article perhaps.....
