Now I don't want this thread to degenerate into "weiner" jokes. I just would like to know how Mr. Weiner has elevated himself into position to penetrate the lead position in his run for Mayor of New York. Also, can he maintain enough stamina to continue to lead in the polls so that his campaign can climax in a win, or will he just fizzle out after just a few weeks? How has he overcome the scandals of the past and can he maintain his lead?

Do New Yorkers like porn stars? Could this be an indication that more New York politicians need to consider a career in porn in order to enhance their political careers? In reality, there is little difference between the two career paths in my opinion, and New Yorkers obviously can't get enough of either.

    Weiner power!!!

I would vote for him. His policy positions are infinitely more important than his sexual indiscretions.

It's not much different than a "B" movie actor getting elected President in 1980.

So in other words, you like his package.

Whatever floats your boat I suppose.

I'm just glad I'm not running against the guy. I mean, if I lost the headlines would read, "Whodey loses to a Weiner". But if I win, the headlines will read, "Whodey beats a Weiner".

    It's a no win proposition.

Just a note. In 1980 the discretion of him sending his weiner on the internet never would have happened.

Anthony just PM'd me with a message, I won't provide the graphic pictures since this is a kid friendly site.

    Anthony says, "I'm Weinning".

Just my opinion, but I don't think Anthony Weiner should run for public office. Too many legal problems. This guy is the Mark Sanford of the Democratic party. Neither of these people should hold public office.

And, of course, you have evidence that the Prism program has been used for blackmail?

Nonsense. He fits in perfectly with Charley Ranger and company.

If anyone questions him, just have the audited.

when you spy on presidential candidates (like when they spied on obama when he was a senator via nsa), it isn't such a stretch to assume that they would have the power to do so. obviously illegally, but the possibility is still there. abuse of power is common in the us; lets try not to deny that

as for evidence, i believe i have already posted a link about 3 military contractors doing just that - using a program through the nsa to take out their opponents
