How about an apology from every single white American?
God, I would pay good money to see that.
(Suzianne replied to ChessTurd.)
It would hardly matter IF 'every single white American' today apologized for (past) racism.
(I would add that it seems silly to ask a recent white immigrant to apologize personally for slavery.)
First of all, American racism is far from in the past. It's thriving and perhaps growing,
as shown by apparent increasing support for white nationalist or supremacist groups.
What can 'every single white American' do?
White Americans NEED TO CHANGE their attitudes, behavior, and culture toward racism.
Now almost all white Americans probably are clueless about how they should change.
So white Americans NEED TO START THE PROCESS OF CHANGE BY LISTENING MORE.
Of course, I expect about all white Americans here NOT to listen to me, any other
non-white people, or even some white critics (like Jamie Utt) of white American racism.
To white Americans, I say:
STOP PRETENDING THAT YOU ALREADY KNOW EVERYTHING THAT YOU NEED TO
KNOW ABOUT RACISM AND START LISTENING TO WHAT PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY
EXPERIENCE RACISM SAY.
