The latest Trump AND Putin: During the Q&A after the so-called summit meeting a reporter asked Putin if he wanted Trump to win and did he use his government officials to interfere in our election. Putin answered Yes and Yes, I wanted Trump to win because he would normalize relations between Russia and the USA.

Well, the entire world saw that exchange, Putin in a rare mistake admitted his involvement in the interference with US elections.

So a week later, the official WH transcript just so conveniently left out the part of the question about interference and the Russian transcript left out that whole exchange completely.

AND the official WH video of that exchange also edited out the question about Russian interference. TWO separate files altered in a way that eliminated the interference question. NOT accidental.
    Deliberate attempt to alter history.

    https://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2018/07/trump-putin-press-conference-transcript/565385/

What do you think of THAT Trumpites?

Your beloved POTUS, No collusion, right? Funny how both Putin and Trump altered that part of the pony show after the so-called Summit.

That tells a LOT about your precious POTUS and it is not good.

It would not surprise me in the slightest if he actually attacked Iran who was sticking with the Nuclear accords. The ayatollah khomeini said,Peace with Iran is the mother of all peace but war with Iran will be the mother of all wars.

In other words, open to both war and peace.
    '
But your buddy Trump only saw the war part and gave his usual don't tread on me tweet:

"never, ever threaten the United States again or you will suffer consequences the likes of which few throughout history have ever suffered before."

Totally ignoring the peace part of the Iranian quote.
So another distraction to throw us off guard AGAIN (And again and again and again.....)
thinking we are so stupid we won't notice his vain attempt to distract away from both the Russian probe which is getting closer to Trump and the Cohen tapes, the first one just made public where T and Cohen discuss payments to that Playboy model who claims to have had a long term affair with Trump and T totally denying that affair but the very first tape to be made public, T talks about getting money to her, not by name but the date was 2 months before the election. So there are several legal problems for T there, campaign finance fraud among other offenses.

Yessir, quite the upright POTUS you Trumpites have there.

But your own link admits that he did not admit to meddling in the election, and simply insists that this is some left open door because it was not explicitly denied.

    From your link:

It was perhaps the most explosive exchange in an incendiary press conference: Russian President Vladimir Putin appearing to frankly admit to a motive for, and maybe even to the act of, meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, despite repeatedly denying Russian interference in American politics during the rest of his appearance with Donald Trump in Finland on Monday.

    ...

Technical difficulties aside, there’s further ambiguity. It’s unclear whether Putin said “Yes, I did” in reference to the question of whether he wanted Trump to win the 2016 presidential race, or in response to the question about whether he directed Russian officials to help Trump win. “You could interpret that to mean he’s answering ‘yes’ to both,” Mason told me, but “looking at it critically, he spent a good chunk of that press conference, just like President Trump did, denying any collusion. So I think it’s likely that when he said ‘Yes, I did,’ that he was just responding to the first part of my question and perhaps didn’t hear the second part.”

So is your argument that Putin made some amazing Freudian slip here or something?

It feels like you are grasping at straws... and then boasting while you do it.

That goobermints meddle in each others elections is no surprise to anyone surely.

The solution is: Reduce the size and influence of the state.

Reduce the incentives for others to interfere by reducing the power their interference might have some effect on.

Why don't you read my WHOLE post before you go all frothing at the mouth, Trumpites. They BOTH altered the transcripts to kill the questions asked by that reporter.

THAT says a lot regardless of whether you think we are grasping at straws or not.

AND there are a DOZEN tapes made by Cohen and BTW, in NY if one party agrees to a recording of a phone call it is legal so don't even TRY to bring up illegality of that tactic by Cohen. He obviously wanted backup in case it all fell apart which it has right in front of his eyes.

Another thing: Trump has not said a WORD to ANYONE, his military or his Intelligence people about what was agreed to in the so-called summit with Putin and his top general in Syria is not being informed of any orders pertaining to the Russian so-called agreement and since he has kept his mouth shut, Putin can say what he wants, like say the US is pulling out of Syria and letting Russia deal with all the 'terrorists' trying to topple the Syrian dictator.
Trump is closed lip about the entire meeting and NOBODY in the US knows what went on, not his top generals nor his intel people
Do you trumpites think that is the way to protect the US?
Trump is a liar and looking more and more treasonous to the US and also not giving a DAMN about the EPA and environmental protections of people in the way of his upcoming oil projects and all that, like starting to drill on national park lands in Alaska which will damage the entire ecosystem there but Trump could give a shyte less. Yessir, GREAT POTUS you have there.

Personally, I hope this would be dictator goes to prison for the rest of his life like he so richly deserves on so many levels. Even if that leaves us with Pence for a few years.

And now because of the tariff wars he now wants to give farmers (his base) a 12 BILLION dollar bribe to keep their vote when they find all of a sudden their sales are down 30 percent because China won't buy soybeans from them any more.

So who else will he bribe the same way say in the aluminum sector? or Steel?

Or auto manufacture or Harley Davidson which recently said they will ship some of their production to Europe BECAUSE of Trump's tariff wars.

Where will he get that taxpayer money for the bribes then? I know, BORROW IT FROM CHINA.

I don't know what a trumpite is. It could be a symptom of Trump Derangement Syndrome?

    That syndrome doesn’t exist.

It’s used by morons to vaguely catagorize dissent as insanity.

And for someone who’s so anti-government, it’s pretty pathetic seeing you defend its use.

Why don't you read the whole thing, I didn't know you would be so frothing at the mouth ready to respond instantly to a real post that took me some time to compose.

Trump is losing it. CLEARLY being unhinged by all the new allegations and I would not be a BIT surprised if he carries through on his threat to attack Iran JUST TO GET HIS BUDDIES RE- ELECTED since what you all want is another war so he can prove his point as to how tough he is on terror.

Of course he won't dare attack his boss Putin will he? Putin has too much on Trump for ANY kind of tough action by this weak ass POTUS even though he KNEW 2 months before the elections Putin personally signed off on the attack of our electoral system, hitting us where we were weak, social media and BTW also nearly brought down out electric nationwide power grid too, but hey, no big deal right? Trump has it all under control........

It doesn't matter Sonhouse. Putin owns Trump and have since the beginning. All of the world knows this, but 'they' will defend the lies, the sexism, the racism, and all the rest and happily clap their hands while going back on everything they held dear beforehand. Some of these guys are even fairly smart (concerning other areas), but you also saw the softcore porn defence in the other thread. It's so pathetic and embarrassing.

There's only the moderates and undecided to go for. And getting people to vote.

THAT I and my wife intend to do. Not a good place here in our borough since they are majorly republican. Just another 'good old boy' town like thousands of others just like that.
A Dutchie town, where they say, "We're Pennsylvania Dutch, dumb AND PROUD OF IT"
And in fact really mean it.
